My Role in Teaching

I'm a faculty member at Penn State University's Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies and also teach for Penn State World Campus in the iMBA program.  My Penn State email is kum4@psu.edu and campus phone is 610-725-5297.

I've developed and taught a variety of management and organizational behavior courses.  At Penn State I teach negotiation strategies,
human resource management, organizational behavior & performance management, and conflict resolution.

I'm working in conjunction with a colleague, and with the help of a grant from Penn State, to develop a course on intercultural management competencies.

"Tell me and I'll forget...involve me and I'll understand" describes my teaching philosophy. Students appreciate my experiential style.

I embrace the use of technology in teaching and have broad experience with tech enabled and tech enhanced instruction.
